About Khaosoi Melbourne
Northern Thailand meets Melbourne Chinatown.
Khao Soi Melbourne its on Little Bourke Street, the spine of Melbourne’s iconic Chinatown. The location isn’t an accident — Northern Thai cuisine has deep roots in Yunnanese and Chinese trade, and Khao Soi itself carries that history in its name (the word “Khao Soi” likely comes from a Chinese-Burmese term for “cut rice”).
Step in and you’ll find a dining room that hums with city energy — a full bar, a dessert menu we’re quietly proud of, and the same coconut curry broth that won the world.
Khao Soi Melbourne is our second location, opened after Sydney, with a few exclusives: a curated cocktail list (try the Khao Soi Sunrise), a dessert menu that pulls from Japan and the West, and a Northern Set that brings Chiang Mai dishes beyond the bowl.
